"Dr. Rex W Urich is one of our country's leading veterinarians with an incredible talent for, and extensive experience with, diagnosing and treating pets. But that's not what makes him such an amazing veterinarian. Sure, he's treated tens of thousands of animals, diagnosed diseases and injuries that have baffled other vets, and he's developed inventive solutions to help animals live long, healthy, and happy lives. But what truly sets Dr. Urich apart is his compassion for and commitment to every animal that enters his hospital, whether the animal has a home or not. He has helped hundreds of homeless animals that have been rescued by his customers and by animal welfare organizations, and he is an outspoken champion and supporter of animal rescue work. If I were an animal in need of veterinary care, whether I was a feral cat or someone's pampered pet, I'd pray to be in Dr. Urich's hands since his are the most compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable and healing hands around! I highly recommend Dr. Urich - he is simply the best.

We highly recommend Dr. Rex Urich and his great staff. Everyone is very professional, caring and courteous. Dr. Rex knows that our pets are our family members and cares for them with kindness and concern. It is difficult to find a vet who has the level of experience, honesty and passion that Dr. Rex has. We feel he will always give us all of the treatment options available while keeping our cost concerns in mind. You will not find a better vet anywhere!

"Dr. Urich is an extremely caring and kind man and SMART and a true credit to his profession. He will take his time with you and answer questions about your pet’s condition. He will follow through to check in on your pet's condition with true concern for your pet.I would HIGHLY recommend bringing your pet to be seen by Dr. Urich...even if you don't live in the immediate area. He is worth the extra driving because Dr Urich will GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR YOU AND YOUR PET. He understands that you Pet is part of the Family.Whether the pet is sick or scared, He handles the pets with concern for your feelings as well as from the pet’s point of view. Dr Urich is passionate about what he does and that's the kind of vet I want.This is a terrific pet clinic. The front desk staff is always friendly, helpful. I have finally,after some arduous searching, found a wonderful veterinarian in Bend, Oregon. My kitty, Bella, was plagued with digestive difficulties. We three different animal clinics around town. Each veterinarian requested some pretty darned expensive testing, much to the dismay of my wallet. Yet, despite elaborate lab work and several courses of medication, poor Bella was no better. Our neighbor recommended Dr. Rex W. Urich right here in Bend. We were told that Dr. Urich's billing rates were very reasonable and that his level of expertise was exceptional.Dr. Rex outlined a detailed regime including a modified feeding schedule, new foods, etc. He even called our home TWICE to follow up on Bella's condition!!! I know....hard to believe. But, it's true! And, the best part of my story...Bella is feeling great, and we have found a very competent and compassionate doctor to serve the medical needs of our pets. My family and I would like to "Thank You" for the care you and your staff have provided to our pets. We have been very impressed with the compassion and excellence in care that you demonstrate to us at every visit. Our animals have had their share of medical problems, recently. Everytime our animals visit your clinic, Mt. Bachelor Veterinary Hospital, we can count on a follow up phone call from Dr. Rex and his staff, you all love animals and it definately shows! We feel very secure knowing our pets have a safe and caring medical clinic to help heal their wounds and illnesses and, of course, to keep them healthy and happy, too!
